Lol this reminds me of several years ago I was talking to a lady in a coupon group online. We were messaging back and forth and she told me you know there's a secret to making a lot of money. I was curious so I asked her how. She said she sells dirty socks on eBay lol I was blown away and said what are you talking about. she said if you wear socks and get them dirty and stinky and sweaty people will buy them for extra curricular activities. I told her no way that is disgusting and I refuse to make money like that. but I was curious so I looked it up and she is not joking you can make a lot of money doing that. I don't know if it's still allowed on eBay this was about 5 or 6 years ago. But to me it's very immoral to do that.

I have a weird question and I've searched online and cannot find the answer to this. lol so here I am. I bought some paraffin wax from a lady recently. It was sealed up in the bag and not opened yet. She said it was her mama's and she doesn't know why but it smells like suntan lotion. She said her mom told her it was paraffin wax. It is very soft and looks like 4627 but it smells like coconut suntan lotion. Sure enough when I open the bag it was a little wet with light oil in it and smelled like suntan lotion coconut. Is there something wrong with this wax or is it a paracoco wax? it smells really good and I tried making melts with it and they came out amazing and do not smell like coconut. Ever heard of this happening lol the bag was sealed and nothing was dirty or anything. I wouldn't have bought it if it was messed up. I bought some slabs from a couple local destashes recently. Some of my slabs are off-white and some of them are pure white? They are all hard. Does that make any sense lol

Yes. I had some already for a different project that didn't work awhile back. lol It works great. I had no idea about this. So I came here for help. I love everyone here as everyone is so helpful and smart. Also the wax can come out of the pan too without sticking. It is supposed to be throw away and is but I wanted to see what would happen. I'm very excited about this.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking either they take it or leave it right lol I had the laugh though I just watched the video from a very popular company. Well at least they say they are anyway but they said they're the only ones that sell wickless soy candles. I know that ain't true because I saw a ton of them on the internet a few minutes ago. Well anyway what made me laugh was the man said after you make the soy wickless candles them on a baker's rack to cure. Then he said how long it needs to cure for soy which is two to three hours he said and then voila they're ready to ship and sell lol yeah right that's not true at all. Lol another thing that makes me cringe is I've been seeing a lot of videos this week where people are saying as soon as the soy candle hardens up in a couple hours you ready to light it and there you go. Say what they must be drinking something crazy huh?

Another question lol should I also make the 4627 mixed with the harder wax like I've been doing? Or just make it plain by itself for the tins? right now I have a lot of both but when I run out it would be more cost-effective just to stay with one wax right? Or do you need to try to cater to tons of people?

That is a great idea. I did have some small aluminum tins and I hope I didn't throw them away. I had bought them for a different plan and didn't use them.I hope I didn't get rid of it. lol They are cheap though so if I don't find it in the next hour I'm ordering some lol

I never heard of it but looked it up. It shows Nature's Garden has one called Christmas Thyme. I don't know if it's the same but it might be.

It is the bomb. I'm wanting to melt it directly in the souffle cups but don't know if the cup would break. I guess I can try it lol I have some 4630 but think 4627 is the best.

I love 4627 but don't make candles. I have mixed it with some pillar wax to make melts and it is great. The scent throw hot and cold is amazing. But I think it is even better alone but of course too soft. It is even more fantastic alone. I tried melting in a silicon liner and it was great. Put in freezer for a few minutes and it comes out a little messy but not sell worthy. For my use, yes but I don't sell junk. Can you melt it in the souffle cups and market it as a totally disposable product? Or should I just harden it up. I did do well with it harder but I think softer wax burns better and longer lol help!

I study purses and have bought authentic Juicy, Coach, Michael Kors, Dooney at yard sales for pennies lol as low as $1.00 for real ones. I find people who just want the stuff gone. I tell them it is real and they say I know but have no use for it lol so I sell them and keep some. I have a ton of purses. Some fakes are awful and some are such good fakes it takes a lot of examining to know for sure. I refuse to sell them on eBay though as someone can claim it's fake and keep the purse AND the money. I know someone several years ago that happened to. I am not doing that. No melts are being called Hawaiian Punch. My problem is that the Kool aid man is cute but famous so I wanted it to stand out. But not going to chance it.

I agree. I just don't understand because years ago koolaid jammers purses we're sold everywhere. Nobody cared. I don't know why the companies didn't then but do now.

I can't use it. It has it embedded into it with the registered mark. Ugh I am not happy but do understand.

I use the 1 oz. for Crystal potpourri and air fresheners. The ones that aren't great alone , I mix them or save them just in case. Buy most are great to me.

My favorite from NG is Better Than Sex Cake. I love NG Apple Butter Pie too among many others but BTSC is amazing.

I see that often and shake my head. No way. I buy it for $10 for $50 pounds. No shipping. Most people I have bought from end up driving through my town even if they are 2 hours away each way. One lady traveled a lot for work. I live an hour from Nashville so a lot of people come through. I do get oils shipped but not wax. I have a few hundred of paraffin 4627 and 4630, about 100 pounds beeswax brand new candles all sealed up that was a gift. My friend found it at a yard sale for only $6.00. I have about 300 pounds soy wax,mostly 464 but have some 444 and 415, yellow paraffin granuals as well as blue, CBL-135. Most of this was from destash. I love the Pumpkin Cupcake. The Pumpkin Pecan Waffles FB has is amazing too. I had to change the name though. I wish I could leave it since it is so popular.

I love that one. I did buy that one from. FB a couple months ago. Also Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. It is amazing. You have to search very often and every day. It is very time consuming but I enjoy looking lol if you see a deal you have to jump immediately because it goes fast. Not everyone wants to give their stuff away but some do. Those are the ones I buy from. lol I refuse to pay more than the suppliers and there are a lot that try that. But then there are some that just want it gone. That's how I get real Coach and MK purses and Kathy Van Zeeland dirt cheap. I am a bargain shopper. lol I study purses and know when they are authentic. Some are obvious but they are getting better at making the knockoffs. Sometimes you have to check almost 20 things to determine if it's authentic but it's worth it. Now I did buy a real Coach with tags for $2.00 I asked the lady why so cheap? She said I just want it gone. She had too much stuff she said lol ok I will buy it. That is how I buy most things even my car.

It was a bedroom but all the kids finally moved out. But I have bookshelves everywhere with oils.
