  1. Now see...I know those would sell really well at a certain little craft mall near your house. Super insanely cute!!!
  2. You are absolutely right. My screen had cut off right below the prices...when I scrolled down I saw it.
  3. I am confused on the Chestnuts and Brown Sugar. On the site it says: You can also order it. So does that mean that they have fixed it since you went in on the 10th? Of course a rhetorical question...I know you don't know what is going on with it. Just found it odd that on the 10th it was not there because there were issues and it is there today with the same note as the BRV.
  4. Still nothing? Have you guys re-emailed them or called?
  5. All for business here. It used to be for my own "play" money but now, it goes for tuition expense with some left over for play. I don't get to "play" with it as much as I would like to...I really would like to try out new things and still want to get into soaping; alas, I just don't have the time. It seems like it is crunch time all the time in my world.
  6. Any time I have emailed them they are super fast on the return. I hope you guys hear something soon!
  7. KY is amazing and JBN seems to be the same. Don't you use JBN for your Cedar and Saffron from them?
  8. Holly, I hope you do contact them and let us know what happens. I have always been so impressed with them and they are one of the suppliers who have posted "new formulation" when their oils change. I have come to trust them as a supplier with amazing customer service. I would hate to hear if that has changed.
  9. One thing to think of is how much is changing wax going to hurt your production time? You cannot pour hot with EZsoy (415), but you can with 6006, right? So most of my production time is spent waiting on pots to cool. I have actually thought of testing a new wax that cost more that would increase my production time. I could crank out so many more. I have seen local candle makers that pour hot with the ez/415, but their candles have horrid frosting and tops I would be embarrassed to put on a shelf.
  10. If you do a search on ezsoy there is a ton of info out here. A search of ezsoy with 6006 even brought up a few. Also, ezsoy is the same as GB415, so when you see "415" mentioned, just know that it is the same wax. Lots of companies use the GB415 and then brand it as their own.
  11. I took 20 leather candles to my show this past weekend. 2-28oz, 12 18oz and 6 11oz. Sold out of every single one. So yup...it sells for me.
  12. Come on Rockin!!!!! Keep us posted and sorry about your nose.
  13. I physically could not do a show alone as far as setting up and tear down. All the display furniture my husband built is so freaking heavy that I could not get it in/out of the trailer alone. So he has to be there. As far as "doing" the show, that just is not his bag. He keeps track of the kiddos for me and shuffles them to birthday parties, soccer and baseball games on the weekends I do shows, so he is my awesome behind the scenes guy. He did come up briefly yesterday and I got a potty break. I walked back to find four people waiting to check out and my poor husband trying to operate the cash register with a look kind of like this on his face:
  14. I still tried looking on line and it is showing out of stock. I have been checking for over a couple of months trying to catch it in stock, but no luck. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7811421
  15. How did you score one on Wally World's site? I have been trying to get one and it keeps showing OOS and none within 500 miles of me. I have one and I want to get another. I wish I had listened to Kimberly sooner and got one last year! It rocks! I used to use two turkey roasters and one presto. Since I only have one turk n surf, I use it, melt the wax and then store some in the turkey roaster and just keep melting more. It has shaved off so much time for me production wise! The only thing I still struggle with is temp control. If I put it at 175, the wax gets too hot. If I go down to 150 (only goes in increments of 25 degrees) it is not hot enough. I usually start it off on 175, then kick it down and then back up if need be. And Kimberly, can I thank you again for talking my scared ass off of the ledge when I fired it up for the first time. I cannot remember how many times I said, "You swear it won't catch on fire? You SWEAR?" I am so happy you did not laugh at me TOO much.
  16. I just checked and I am so excited. I can fit eight clamshells in a tampon box. I am golden until menopause hits.
  17. Okay, I can understand MAYBE one mouse trap box. But TWO?! LMAO! They must have major rodent issues. You know you have to dish and tell us who it is. I can honestly say that I have never had any of my supplies shipped to me (from well known suppliers on the board) in anything other than new boxes or USPS priority mail boxes.
  18. I don't use a straight Sandalwood but JBN makes a great vanilla sandalwood that throws well in soy. In fact about 90% of the oils I have tried from them throw amazingly well for me in soy. They have top notch customer service as well.
  19. also found this when doing a search on this board: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74535&highlight=aromatique
  20. I found this on scent review board: Does no totally match up with the Aromatique description but if I were desperate, I would give it a whirl.
  21. Here is one: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75940
  22. I use Flickers and love it. I did not test WSP (just try not to order too much from them) but the others I did test were just too heavy on the cherry. How is WSPs cherry factor?
  23. Hmmmmm...you have tickled my interest. If it throws in your wax, it will throw in mine. I need to do a NG order, so I will have to try some. You are such and enabler.
  24. Okay, so nothing as fancy as some of the stuff I have seen out here, but I am excited to to at least ANYTHING that is crafty outside of stuff for my candle biz! I used to be so crafty, but you all know how it goes...no time. Recently my son has football practice so my girls and I are in town looking for stuff to do while killing time. We have decided to work on craft projects together. Nothing over the top hard since they are not old enough for stuff over-the-top-difficult. Our first project was a bow holder for the youngest. We let her pick out the the material and then they helped me put it together. Luckily Hobby Lobby had their frames on sale for 50% off. I got the perfect frame that was usually $50 for for $25. The girls helped me pad, stuff, glue and all that jazz. Voila...bow holder!
