  1. My supplier also said they were expecting some price drops soon.
  2. She is high but the strongest and most tart one I have ever smelled and used in wax is from Kangaroo Blue. Only fo I order there. Overwhelming strong in wax.
  3. I haven't smelled Sweet Cakes. They were both recommended to me and since WSP had a couple other things I could throw in with my order I went with them. Dirty ashtray? I don't think so. OOB I thought it was too heavy on the cherry and was really disappointed. I decided to go ahead and test it anyway and I'm really glad I did. I had several people here where I work say they really liked it. Darbla I'd be happy to send you some to try.
  4. Wow. At 6% that stuff throws hot and cold like crazee! I have started making my own wax blend and it is a para/soy combo. I poured a candle last night and burned it today and it is running me out of here it is so strong!
  5. I do like Chuck except I use a bamboo skewer to poke my hole. I stick the wick in and if I need to change it I pull it out with a pair of pliers and stick the next one in. Works prefectly.
  6. I would recommend that you start out with just a regular cp soap batch and after you make a couple of those switch to goat milk. I know there will be plenty of people pop up and say they started making soap with animal milk. Truth is though it is a tad bit more touchy than a water or coconut milk soap. Just my two cents worth. Kathy Miller's site is an excellent starting place.
  7. I like using the little glue pots with hot glue. Once it is cooled you have to be really careful and not pull on it but I only pulled a couple loose before I figured out how much to tug.
  8. When I've remelted I warm the glass container just enough to get the wax out...even cut the wax in chunks in the container...because I don't like re-heating glass too much.
  9. One of the first fo's I ever bought was om&h from Bramble Berry. It is one that is heavy on the almond scent. This has by far been my best selling cp soap. Time and again I have sold out of it. I had requests for it in a candle and I made them for her but I didn't find it to be a strong smelling candle scent.
  10. Sweetcakes or WSP's Santa's Pipe along with Peaks Cinnamon Bun are among my most popular.
  11. I wish there was a scent like Ciao Bella's Amber Sambaca That whole amber sandalwood vanilla, ect ...well here is the whole ingredients list: http://www.myskinsoapstudio.com/category.sc?categoryId=16 Seriously my husband reacts to that scent when I wear it. I would spend a lot of money and time working to make a candle throw right with it if there was an fo that smelled like it. I call it liquid sexy yum. For me any romantic scent would be deep like it is.
  12. Julia I order from Aztec all the time. They are about 45 minutes from me so I pick up at their store front.
  13. I'm terrible. I just have these big boxes that I write in magic marker on the outside. Just the wick size and if it is one of my regular jars I say that too. I am guessing that those clear shoe box containers from Walmart might work good. You could write on the end the wick size and just stack them up.
  14. I would love to find some silicone floral molds that are really finely detailed.
