  1. Sorry--this should have gone in the fragrance discussion. My apologies!!
  2. I pulled my large bottle of CS Mistletoe out last weekend to test in my new 9 oz and 16 oz straight sided amber jars. This was a favorite of mine when I first purchased it a few years ago but I had forgotten how fantastic it is. One of the beautiful things about this FO, besides the wonderful scent, is the fact that you could seriously use a 3-4% FO load on this and be just fine. That's a money saver. The throw on this scent is crazy good--I can't do any other FO test burns while I'm testing this because it just works its way around the house and moves right in. Hence the need for a low FO load. I've never purchase another FO like this one---it's fantastic. Definitely in my holiday lineup
  3. I got some from Bittercreek as well and that is divine oob also!
  4. VBN from WSP is amazing; I'm on test burn #2 which has been going since 5 am today! It is a creamy and delicious vanilla--not over the top vanilla notes with a bit of caramel type finish on it. I would NEVER use this as a blender since it is crazy expensive. It stands alone.
  5. I just poured a test candle with the TPS today and I added just a splash of Very Vanilla from CS; it rounded it out a bit. I did an 80% TPS and 20% VV blend. Smells wonderful without being too creamy since I just added a bit of the VV.
  6. Thank you! Will you please update me when you receive your order? Thanks SO much!!
  7. I just stumbled across this distributor today and have never seen them mentioned on this forum. Does anyone order from them? They have a lovely selection of very expensive FO's--is there something magical about these scents?
  8. of these that I have tried in 6006 wax, my very favorites are Amber Noir and Cotton Tree. I love anything amber so that's a no brainer for me. I do like the Lone Star Mahogany Woods a bit better than this--more scent layers but this is great. Cotton Tree is fabulous and doesn't smell anything like a clean linen scent--it's fresh and light and clean--love it
  9. I'm wondering if this might be one that needs a longer cure time
  10. Quick update--I received my Choc Chip Cookie FO from Aztec yesterday and poured a tester this morning. Wowsers--it smells exactly like I baked chocolate chip cookies!!! As a side note, I did read previous posts about using Paypal on Aztec which I did. I have to say that I love how quickly they ship and how reasonable their shipping rates are. I will use them again for sure.
  11. I've got a test of this FO from FC in CB Xcel wax (leftover from when I used soy--love this wax!) with a wood wick in a brown tumbler. Once you add the wood wick as a factor it's hard to say whether a light scent throw is due to the wick, wax or FO or possibly all 3 together! It is a nice fragrance--spicy but smooth. I'm on 3 hr test burn #2 and so far it's pretty good. I'll probably stick with my traditional favorite, Pumpkin Souffle (CS) but this may be a contender for another fall pumpkin option.
  12. I saw that Bittercreek sells this but the description sounds a bit off from what Scentsy's Snowberry smells like. The cinnamon in the description doesn't sound right--I don't detect any cinnamon in the Scentsy fragrance. Hmmmmm....
  13. holy shinola--that's a lot of FO!!
  14. I was wondering this same thing but I haven't ordered the White Birch yet, only the Vanilla Birch. Based on the scent descriptions on their websites, I'd have to say these are probably vastly different scents. White Birch/CS: Our White Birch fragrance oil adds a new layer of sophistication to traditional pine scents with vivid notes of eucalyptus, cypress, and tonka bean, creating a unique aromatic crispness. A fabulous choice for winter candle or soap lines, this scent also has year-round appeal as a luxury evergreen fragrance. This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils, including fir needle, cedarwood, eucalyptus, patchouli, and cedar leaf. Vanilla Birch/WSP: Quince nectar, mandarin zest and pear brighten a seductive base of sandalwood, birchwood and vanilla. She may not remember what the VB smelled like so maybe try the switch?
  15. Good to know on the smoked vanilla-I have that one in my lineup ready to test. Oob it's wonderful!
  16. I've tried the MC too but just know it is nothing at all like Mahogany Woods.
  17. Besides the black tins, what type of container are you looking for?
  18. Why must these businesses charge $13.95 to ship 8 oz of fo???!
  19. Yes I saw there's a lot of choices for this fo! I want to be really picky on this one so having real world experience will help a lot! I was surprised how many companies off that scent. I will keep your feedback in mind-thank you!
  20. I was in a specialty cookie shop this morning and I noticed they sell candles. After ordering my cookies I asked some questions about their candles. It turns out they're not from a local company and they really want a chocolate chip cookie scent that their current vendor can't/won't provide. I need recommendations for a fabulous cc cookie fo please! I'd love to present one of my candles to this shop!
