  1. Is there a link to find out if you have to have all ingredients on room and linen sprays? Much appreciated!
  2. I'm using the mimosa mandarin in soy and am finding there is no hot scent throw whatsoever!
  3. Go here: http://www.candletech.com/cgi-local/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=gallery;action=display;num=1111442044
  4. Welcome to the board squirrel! This is where your questions will get answered. Waiting to see some pics soon.
  5. Is it not AMAZING! I love this oil. You smell the cinn., and caramel in the bottle, but I found when burning, a TRUE COFFEE!! I LOVE IT!!!!
  6. Thank Goodness you posted as I was just going to put in a $200-$300 order with them. I guess NOT now! They just lost a NEW POTENTIAL Customer!
  7. The company probably liquidated that particular glassware as their moving on to something else or the dude at the buck shop ripped off their warehouse.
  8. Try: http://www.chemistrystore.com/ Not sure about the oil your looking for but it's a good start.
  9. Trust me...I have sampled atleast 15 "orange" oils and every single one had either a light throw or a fuel smell except one place "Royal Aromatics"! Lot #RA30208. This oil is very citrusy without the fuel smell. I drove myself crazy for 2 years acquiring a perfect orange and finally got it.
  10. Check out www.justscent.com WARM VANILLA SUGAR - A BBW dupe. A warm, rich vanilla, with Basmati rice and soft sandalwood on a musky background. A wonderful rich and cozy scent. I've had a gazillion requests for this oil! Great in soy and in paraffin and it is bath and body safe.
  11. Hey Tracey, There is a lady on this board "Mozz", she's also from Austrailia and familiar with the Palm Wax from one of her suppliers. I will email her and have her contact you.
  12. Vybar 343 (candlewic) Wax Additive for mottled candles and pillar candles. The latest development from the producers of Vybar 103 and vybar 260 this product is intended to allow more scent to be placed in a mottled candle without "bleeding". This product allows for linear release of the scent from the wax. In most applications 1 % usage levels will acheive desirable results. Note: This product will not take a non-mottling wax and make it mottled, but is intended to enhance the mottling while allowing for more fragrance to be added. [A-28]
  13. Use the 343 in the pillar palm and 260 in the container palm.
  14. If your candles explode...WOW! you shouldn't even be selling candles. :rolleyes2 My brother is a Fire Fighter and he explained that the 5 cent "warning label" on the bottom of your candle can save your butt. There's an old saying..."Guns don't kill people, people kill people", so my point is, it's the consumers responsiblity to read all warning lables prior to burning any candle. If they set your candle underneath drapes with a window open and you've stipulated in your warning label "do not burn near open drafts", then who is at fault??? You know the answer. Now if your doing a trade show and a customer trips inside your booth or over your table dressing, yes it is your responsibility, not the hall holding the craft show. If your selling candles out of your home and have consumers coming on a regular basis or home parties, they trip on your steps or porch, you should have another form of business insurance that is going to cover such accidents. If your manufacturing in your home and it's classified as a "business", you should have separate insurance. I called numerous Insurance Companies in regard to "Liability" insurance and a lot of them never called me back because either they don't want to deal with us or the rates are so high. Check with your insurance co.
  15. Doesn't that just burn your shorts! When your playing around making candles for yourself, everything turns out fine. As soon as you get that nice big order, something goes wrong. That's happened to me a couple of times, but honesty is the best advise. Just let her know the delivery has been delayed by a couple of days due to a quality issue and I'm sure she'll be understanding and comply with your company policies.
  16. Can you even get on to their website anymore?????????
  17. I tend to play around with the different settings on my digital camera and try using a tripod when taking pics that way the camera is steady with no shake. Try using a nice background with your photos and have lots of light. If your using lots of lighting, turn off the flash on the camera, that way your photos aren't over exposed. Not enough lighting leads to dark, dull pics. Take photos at different angles and always use the method of "braketing". Taking 3 pics at different angles and choosing one from the 3. Hope that helps ya and good luck with your photos.
  18. Found this place for you. http://www.sweetcakes.com/default.php?cPath=11
  19. Could anyone tell me the best place you have experienced to purchase flavor oils. Just wondering what Brambleberry is like? Thank You!
  20. Ok, I need to know exactly what type of dye I should use if I'm planning on making lip balms. What is the best and where to get it. Thanks!

  23. I'm waiting for my samples. What's your opinion on the Satin Sheets?
  24. Sharyl, The Caramel Cinnamon Latte is a DEAD ON RINGER to straight black coffee, no kidding. Don't let the caramel/cinnamon fool ya. In the bottle you get all three smells, when in soy ... BLACK STRONG COFFEE ALL THE WAY!!! I love it. Blew me away when I tested that f/o. I will definately stick with JS's Caramel Cinnamon Latte for my coffee addicts. Hyacinth Chula Orchid is really, really nice. Now the Ultimate Vanilla is another thing, I tested in soy and maybe it's my nose, but I didn't get a real strong throw off of it. I expected more. Orange Chiffon is Excellent. Claire Burke has an EXCELLENT hot throw. Apple Jack & Peel is another one I expected more of. Chai Tea is very nice. Pistachio Fluff is a really nice scent burning. Lavender/Vanilla, strong hot throw. Orange Cranberry, nice lingering throw Hot Buttered Rum, nice strong throw. Sweet Pea is a really nice lingering throw. Capitvating Currant, I'm gonna have to test again because I didn't get a really strong throw the first time, might be the nose thing again. HTH ya Sharyl.
