  4. JS has the best and I've tried a few. Beauiful in body butter as well as candles. Here is her description. HAWAIIAN WHITE GINGER - Hawaiian White Ginger is a beautiful, unique and unforgettable scent. The White Ginger grows wild in the high rain forests of Hawaii and carries with it the warm scent of the tropical stillness. An old Missy's oil brought back by popular demand! Bath and body safe.
  5. See...$25 bucks and your just as satisfied. I could use that $$ for more oils and wax. What's the grapefruit smell like? IYO, bottom notes, top notes...with all of our brains working together, we may be able to come up with a very close dupe or supplier.
  6. If you can get a girlfriend to work with you that day, she would be the biggest help you'll ever need. It's nice to be able to ring in your sales and not be disturbed by doorbells. Some customers want to get their goods and off they go. I have a friend that answers the door, bags the product while I deal with the sales and delivering the presentation for curious customers.
  7. I usually take around 12 of my best sellers for that season. A couple baked, floral, clean and fruity. By providing them with a brochure and a fragrance listing with their purchase, they are more than likely to become future customers for your other scents that are not available at that time.
  8. I just went to Jo Malone site and I am impressed with their candles, but can someone please explain to me how a 2.5 kg jar candle could possibly cost $345.00? What's in it that makes it so superior to our candles? I'm totally confused here.
  9. I would package it like Yankee does: http://www.just-candles.net/Zoom.asp?PID=10236
  10. Well WSP won't ship to Canada so I guess they've lost business to Candles & Supplies. :rolleyes2
  11. Haven't tried them myself but knew there was an interest on these wicks in the past with other chandlers on this board.
  12. I noticed they don't come with bases. I don't think I like that!

  19. Good Job. Now that you have it down pat...we want more. :highfive:
  20. I also charge 95 cent per oz. for soy on refills, but I also only do refills for people I know. The jars have to be washed and suitable for candles. Any thin jars or jars with very small neck openings do not get poured. I also keep notes on every refill ie, wick size, fragrance load, colour etc., as it makes it easier when they come back for a fill on the same jar.
  21. Beautiful job Henry. Those would look gorgeous down my driveway. :highfive:
