  1. I add beeswax to my pure soy, and with that diameter of a candle, for me, an htp126 would do the trick.. but thats me.. lol Heather

  6. This is totally normal = and this is why I love soy - its totally natural AND unpredictable - dont worry about it - its melted wax.. customers, users, dont care - really - I get more compliments on the fact that I dont use any color stabilizers or additives and it gives them more of a unique look - even while burning.. JMO Heather
  7. My customers like the frosting too - but you can always add a little besswax about 1tbsp/lb and that should eliminate most of it without having to wick up.. Heather
  8. Years ago I found that with the glue gun - the heat of the wax sometimes would loosen up the wick and then it would float.. :undecided Since all that testing, I have been using wick stickems for the last 3 years.. Heather
  9. I have tried other Pink Sugars too and they have all crystalized for me.. Maybe I will try warming the FO before adding - my favorite is the Pink Sugar from Indiana Candle Supply Heather

  13. I only get my honeysuckle from WSP - Customers just cant seem to get enough of it! Heather
  14. I agree with the previous poster - Minor mushrooming is better than no full melt pool and at times thats hard to get with soy - Congrats!! Millcreek kits is how I started off and that was over 3 years ago - they are great mentors!! Heather
  15. Type of Soy or Soy Blend you use? ECOSOYA PURE SOY Additives if any? NONE Preferred dyes? Color Blocks from ICS Preferred wick (Not sizes)? HTP Pouring temp you recommend? 100 or less What you do to prevent frosting? pouring as cool as you can What you do to prevent rough tops? Treat with a blow dryer Do you do anything to prevent wet spots? make sure jars at room temp Heather
  16. I will only pour pure soy candles and tarts and I LOVE EcoSoya PURE Soy CB for both. If in a pinch and my supplier is out (of course) I grab a box from Millcreek of their pure soy flakes.. Good Luck!! Heather
  17. WOW - a two day show!!! You are brave... Is it a show where you have to leave your stuff set up overnight?? I have always been uncomfortable about that. You would think I treated my candles like my children...lol Heather
  18. That site is WSP - its their fragrance site - I live down the street from WSP and go there at least twice a week for my wax (wow that saves me shipping too!) - I can get it to you cheaper (usps) if you need it.. Email me directly Heather Cleveland OH
  19. Again- I would have to say ICS www.candlesupplys.us - I HATE florals but their Rose is the best and I actually enjoy it.. Heather
  20. Thats the wax I use - I just started this month adding 1 tbsp of beeswax to my 1 lb pure soy... Noticed a big difference.. I try added 2 tbsp of beeswax at 1st but my jars started doing this weird cracking thing after burning - now with just the 1 tbsp - they are awesome and I am done testing! Heather
