  1. Lisa's concocting that one. I'll make sure you see it.
  2. I agree, Sunday was not the best weather for the show. We were at the same show and weren't even able to set up in the morning because of the wind. We had a 45 lb weight strapped to each leg of our tent and it was still being blown down the street. If it wasn't for the wait staff at the restaurant across the street, I don't think I could have held the tent by myself. My wife had to hurry our 4-year-old son into one of the local businesses for safety because there was debris being blown down the street amid the occasional tent. What really pissed me off is that while the local business owners and customers were helping the vendors hold their tents down, the hired security officers ran for cover. My wife is composing a nice little letter to the security company with all their names.
  3. Actually, JS's Totally Scrumptious smells exactly like an orange Tootsie Pop or one of those Terry-O chocolate oranges that you smash.
  4. I don't have a pic of a slab mold when it's apart but here is one of a 6 lb log mold with all the options. For a slab mold, it would just be stretched out more.
  5. I, too, want free samples from everyone on this board. There is no reason for this other than I want stuff for free. In fact, I'm not even willing to pay for the shipping. To top it off, you need to include $1 in each shipment. TIA p.s. Don't make me wait.
  6. mz.choize just posted pics of her new 9 bar mold here: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70532 It was $65 for the mold and $5 for the lid + shipping.
  7. That one is a 9 bar (3 lb) mold. That mold is $65 and the lid was an additional $5
  8. There's a pic of one of my log molds here: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59360 There's a pic of an 8 lb slab mold here: http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70362&page=4 I'm sure there are other pics if you search. I'm in the process of having my site built so there are no pics there yet.
  9. I couldn't tell you off-hand the total dimensions but each bar measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". I could adjust the mold and dividers to whatever dimension you want. Do you have the link to the post on the dish? I don't hang out there much.
  10. The price for that size mold with dividers would be $100. The lid (made of the same 1/2" HDPE) would be an additional $10. A 4 lb. mold with dividers would be $80 and the lid would be an additional $5
  11. Here's a pic of a 24 bar (8 lb.) slab mold with dividers that I made for one of the members here.
  12. Yes, they come with dividers. Just tell me what size you want your bars to be and I'll space the dividers to your needs.
  13. I make both log & slab molds. Sorry, I don't supply bon-bons with my molds. BTW, it's spelled "viola"
  14. You do not need to line my molds but it is very helpful to coat them with some sort of mold release agent. I use PAM cooking spray or mineral oil. Of course, the softer your recipe, the more your soap will stick to any mold.
  15. I don't make wood molds like Paul does but my custom made HDPE molds ship in about a week as long as I have a weekend to work on them. I need that weekend because, in addition to our candle and soap business, My wife and I work +40 hours a week at regular jobs. In addition to that, we're both on the TX Soapmakers Assn. convention committee. Oh, and our 4 year old has the nerve to demand time from us as well. Even with all that going on, I can still get molds shipped in about a week. I would be happy to help anyone out on a HDPE mold but I won't be able to fill anymore orders until May 1st because my biggest craft show of the year is at the end of this month. I don't have pictures of my molds on my website yet because my site is still being built but there are pictures of my molds on this forum. Just do a search.
  16. The PO you got from me is RBD (non-homogenized).
  17. MYTH started by soy wax advocates to try to make paraffin look bad. Good luck finding a wick anywhere that's still made with lead. They've been banned for years.
  18. Just Scent has a dupe that I've been told is right on. It's my best seller.
  19. Have you looked here? http://www.suppliersbystate.com/state-listings.php?st=TX There are a few suppliers near the Dallas area. Green Leaf and Taylored Concepts are a couple that come to mind.
  20. BCS has the same thing as BCN. Imagine that. Same company, same product. Just wanted to add that in case you were closer to BCS.
  21. Looks great, Sabrina. For those of you, like myself, who can't read Italian, google can translate the site into English. I know this works for Internet Explorer with the google tool bar which you can get here for free. If you go into the set up options, turn on the "Translate Menu." This will translate her page into English with pretty good accuracy. Another way to do it is when you have the google tool bar without the translate menu turned on, you can right click on a page, go to "page info" then click on "Translate page into English." Now we can all fully appreciate Sabrina's beautiful web site. And Sabrina, this could probably work for you to translate English sites into Italian.
  22. My Step-Mother-In-Law is a chemist at M.D. Anderson in Houston, TX. I'll pass your question on to her and keep you posted. Might take a day or two depending on how she's feeling. She's recovering from a recent surgery.
