  1. I don't usually like the food scents but I might try this one. The Pumpkin and Pecan probably smells great together!
  2. I've never tried Scentsy melts but from what I understand, if you use their Melts, you must use their warmers with it. You may want to review their website and read up on their disclaimers lol
  3. Thanks for the share. That's carved candles are so beautiful, she made it look so easy. I'd probably mess it up lol. They stated it takes about a year to learn this technique sounds quicker than making a container candle.
  4. I don't do testers, I let my customers open the clamshells and sniff. They seem to like going thru the tray to sniff different fragrances but to make it easier for them, I've decided to put my melts in different trays for different fragrances.
  5. I agree with you all. I make melts and burn them in two different melters and they burn just fine. In fact, I use a oil burner that's made out of glass. I use it at the flea market most times and people stop to ask what's the fragrance and they buy my melts. Sounds like Scentsy is getting desperate. If I saw this message, I probably would not buy their melts because that means I would have to buy strictly from them and we live in a society where people want to buy whatever they choose.
  6. 4630 us a easy to work with one pour wax. IMO it works best with htp wicks. To me the zinc wicks smokes too much like someone said earlier. It doesn't shrink if it's poured at a temp around 180-170 and it throws pretty good.
  7. Your labels are beautiful! You did a great job. @Belinda, I always add warnings similar to what's on this package.
  8. Hi, have you viewed Moonglowcandles.net site. They have a few numbered cotton core wicks. HTH
  9. Hi Everyone, I just recently joined the forum after repeatedly viewing posts lol. I started my candle journey March 2012 and still working on candles that I am totally satisfied with. I started out with C-3, the most finickiest wax around, if that's a word. I'm married with 3 grown daughter's. My baby girl just graduated high school in June 2013. I just wanted to add my 2 scents. I agree with Moonshine and most others, sounds like someone is phishing for info but I'm glad you didn't give her anything. It was a dead give away when she said her aunt used to make candles...
