Anyone use PayPal at craft shows

Next year I hope to start taking credit again. Had to drop it for a while. Anyway, when I do I already decided to use Square and the reason is I prefer the money to go directly into my account.

Also, I used to have a merchant account and even thou the % rate is cheaper with a merchant account the monthly merchant fees add up but the money is in your account within 24 hrs. I also once tried a Paypal account for a while and hated it so I dropped it after less than a year. Also, the money goes into your Paypal account and not your bank account. You have to physically do that and it takes several days. Not good. Maybe its changed lately but its still won't be good enough as far as I am concerned. Paypal has a long way to go to be a good merchant.

I've been wanting to be able to take credit/debit again but I still have an old school phone.    Once I do, I will use the paypal one.  I've heard good things about it.  The money takes a couple of days to go into my bank account but I don't mind that.   I have a paypal debit card so I can use that if I need to and most suppliers that I order from take paypal.    I've never had problems with Paypal.   I have 2 Etsy shops so having a paypal account is important. :)

I've used a merchant account and paypal in the past.  But for the last 3 years I've used Square..... absolutely won't use anything else.  Comparable in fees with other merchants.   We use it at our storefront as well as craft shows.  My daughter and I both have the app on our phones and can take credit cards at the same time at the shows with funds all going into the same account.   Love It!!
