sassyQ
I just smelled this yesterday! It is simply to die for. By far the best pumpkin I have ever smelled! Has anyone else smelled it? If so, do you know of anything even remotely similar?
carol k
I haven't smelled it yet, but I mixed up Mc's vermont maple syrup & Mc's pumpkin souffle & it's smelling pretty awesome.
FaithfulScenter
I haven't smelled it, but some of my friends were going on (and on and on )about it. I too had thought of trying to duplicate it, I always loved Glades fall line before I started making candles myself.
megandgarr
I also make my own blend and call it pumpkin maple fudge bars: 50/50 of vermont maple syrup (KY) and pumpkin pie (J&L). Smells delish!
TraciS
Tried to dupe it but the pumpkin pie I used was toooo spicy. Waiting for a sample of a less spicy pumpkin to arrive to try again.
megandgarr
If the sample is still too spicy, the J & L Pumpkin pie has no spice at all.
ChandlerWicks
It has good CT, but the HT isn't strong to my nose. Did anyone else burn this? TIA!
debratant
I just picked one up today. After reading about it here, I had to try it. I will be lighting it up in a bit. I'll let you know if I geta good throw. The CT is strong. It reminds me of another FO I have, but can't put my finger on which one. I will have to figureout which scent I have that smells similiar. Holly
I love Backwoods Grammy's Pumpkin Pie. I wonder if adding BW's Maple Sugar with the Pumpkin Pie would be good/close. I have not smelled Glade's so not sure if it would be close. Does the Glade on have much spice in it?
MrsPacNW
Funny I stuck it up to my nose and wrinkled it immediately..it was over powering..so my husband said "why do you do that?" I said what make a funny face?..he said, "no pick up store candles, you know they are awful".. LOL I said I do it to see why the shelves are clearing of these scents..I know it's mostly because they are marketed really well...have coupons and are pretty cheap. ChandlerWicks
I'm about halfway thru jar & wick is drowning by the end of each burn. I bought just to see how they burn. Wow, I think mine actually burn better then this one!I just picked one up today. After reading about it here, I had to try it. I will be lighting it up in a bit. I'll let you know if I geta good throw. The CT is strong. It reminds me of another FO I have, but can't put my finger on which one. I will have to figureout which scent I have that smells similiar. debratant
Mine had a pretty good throw for the 3 hours I burned it. Not as strong as mine tho. It looks like an htp wick to me. Are these a soy blend? My cooled pool has what looks like pitting in it. Almost looks like some soy that I've worked with.
