rjdaines
I've tried 3 different Pine FO in GW464 and have gotten nothing in the way of HT, does someone know of a pine fragrance that works for them in 464 or some other soy wax? Thanks
Stella1952
I tested North Woods in NatureWax C3 and found it to be very pleasing. Smells like a Douglas Fir tree.
jackbenimble
Rocky Mountain Christmas at Elements works great! I use it in 464 also. Great HT! HTH :-)
Candybee
Second Elements Rocky Mountain. This was formerly a Flickers oil called Christmas Pines. For the holidays I use FMC's Christmas Tree. I also like CS Blue Spruce. The strongest pine I have ever used was from Old Mill. OM's oils went to SGS/Tony's. It used to be named Rocky Mtn Pine. Don't know if they still have it but it was knock your bobby sox off strong. I had to dilute it or lower the % to use in soap and candles. jonsie
I like the smell of Nature's Garden Candles' Christmas Tree. I use 464 too and I had to bump up my load to 8% to get a good HT. I wouldn't mind trying another FO because I think this one might cause my candles to frost. Then again, it may be frosting because it is at 8%. Catlover
Just to add another one, CS's Mistletoe throws wonderfully for me in 464. I have one customer who wants it year-round.
Candybee
I adore CS Mistletoe. Its my fav Christmas and year round fragrance. I have to use at 3% in my GG thou because its so strong. But not everyone likes the eucalyptus oil in it so I also carry a backup pine like FMC Christmas Tree or Elements Rocky Mtn.
