PAgirl89
So I took a recipe from a board search I did and added some baking soda to it. I didn't have any of the dendritic salt the recipe called for but I think it turned out great without it.Recipe used1 1/2 cups fine sea salt1/2 cup corn starch1/2 cup SLSA1/4 cup baking soda1/4 cup powdered milk ( I used goat's milk)FO and soap dye to suitRecipe makes about 18oz of salt mixture.Chamomile (yellow), Apples & Citrus (orange), Rice Petals & Shea (pink), Lavender Petals (purple), Lemongrass & Kiwi (light yellow/green), Cranberry Apple (dark pink). maryann
Love the colors. All the dendritic salt does is help with the scent, its fine like table salt so you can't tell by the looks that you omitted it. Enjoy!!
moon01945
Hi! these look great. wondering where you get powdered goats milk and what is a good price. I don't currently use it but I was thinking of incorporating it in my soaps.
PAgirl89
I got the powdered goats milk at the grocery store that 1 time and now I can't find it anymore. I switched to regular powdered milk since it is readily available at the grocery store I shop every week.
moon01945
yeah they have the canned at my store but not powdered for goats milk. I was hoping i could get it on line for cheaper, but I really have nohting to compare it to.
