Donita
Here is another luminary orb I recently made. I have always used SB #1 wick for beeswax tealights. Made a bunch. Nope. Didn't work well. I called Ellyn at Candlewic and she helped me out. She recommended CD-5. I tried several wicks and this one burned consistently for 7 hours. Boy....this takes a lot of time but I am happy with the results. I am not an expert on wicking beeswax....and didn't know that each new batch needs to be tested. The beat goes on...........(smile) Test Test Test Test (:Anyone have any suggestions on wicking 2" and 3" beeswax pillars? Thanks, Donita
salvation3
Sorry, I'm no help on the suggestions part but I have to say that is simply gorgeous. Good job seems like an understatement!:smiley2: Edited November 30, 2010 by salvation3
CandlesforConnie
I have absolutely no idea. I am VERY new to candle making and am only focusing on soy container candles. I am replying simply to let you know that your candles are AMAZING! They are absolutely beautiful.I can only hope to be as talented as you one day. :highfive:
simplybeelightful
That is absolutely stunning. Going to have to try making those myself. As far as the wicking. I use 60 ply flat braided wicks for my 3" beeswax pillars and they work beautifully.
B@BlissStreet
Yeah, Donita! That is superb. I so love the colors. I do strictly container and clamshell pours, and I've spent three years working that out...can't imagine how to attempt the pretties you make. Thanks for sharing. Gorgeous work!
