jaxxcandles
How did the festival turn out?
StarvationHoller
The festival was a bust. It was more like a flea market then a festival .All the vendors were selling yard sell items and they weren't even good ones... I'm not trying to put us above everyone else but the flea market looked like sanford and son's place. The location was horrible and most of the people who came through wasn't interested in candles. we high tailed it out on Friday, cut our losses and never returned. Now for the good news we got an invitation to "Art's on the Green" which is an invitation only festival consisting of 8-10 local artists that are handpicked by a committee ,lucky for us the president bought about 50$ worth of product and fell in love with us on the spot. She even waived our set up fee!We also picked up a local business that want's to carry our line in her shop which was a real treat since the festivals are slowing down in our area.So even tho we didn't sell out out the so called festival , we managed to get a client and an invitation to a cool event:)
