  1. I can confirm that this company is legit, we buy all of our clamshells from this company. If you buy peaks clamshells at say 100pcs for 30$ plus shipping which for us is around 13$ you have around .43cents per shell. Versus .13cents per shell with panic plastics. I've never ordered samples from them(shipping kills profits) I just use the regular 6 cavity http://candleclamshells.com/6-cavity-tart.html and it is the same as the ones they sell at peak and Ky candle co.
  2. We don't have a website yet but we do have facebook just search starvation holler:)
  3. http://www.frenchlickart.blogspot.com/ We aren't featured since we filled the last spot but there is the event.
  4. The festival was a bust. It was more like a flea market then a festival . All the vendors were selling yard sell items and they weren't even good ones... I'm not trying to put us above everyone else but the flea market looked like sanford and son's place. The location was horrible and most of the people who came through wasn't interested in candles. we high tailed it out on Friday, cut our losses and never returned. Now for the good news we got an invitation to "Art's on the Green" which is an invitation only festival consisting of 8-10 local artists that are handpicked by a committee ,lucky for us the president bought about 50$ worth of product and fell in love with us on the spot. She even waived our set up fee! We also picked up a local business that want's to carry our line in her shop which was a real treat since the festivals are slowing down in our area. So even tho we didn't sell out out the so called festival , we managed to get a client and an invitation to a cool event:)
  5. Nice to meet all of you! Were getting ready for our 3 day weekend setting up at the pumpkin festival and can't wait to see how our product sells. We overstocked our pumpkin blends to see how people like it and are trying a new sales pitch. We will let everyone know how it turned out as soon as were back.
  6. We buy our lids from Candle Science http://www.candlescience.com/containers/rustic-jelly-lid/ They fit masons perfectly and are relatively cheap, try em out you might like em.
  7. We set up at a festival this past weekend, supposed to have been "Homemade crafts in the park". Everyone there had handmade items jewelry, carvings, wreaths etc (7 vendors in total) . But one name stuck out Scentsy and they set up right across from us. Never heard of them until then and now I'm hearing about them again.. Anyways they sold their warmers for 25$ and tarts for 5, were dressed to kill, and dominated the sales that day. My tarts were 4$ and our warmers $10 and had a really hard time selling them. I was so furious that they allowed them to set up since everything they do is factory produced and nothing is "Homemade". I have never personally used a scentsy tart but I know for sure now I definitely won't . I'm sorry that lady was rude to you (we have that happen all the time) But keep your head high and keep on doing what you do. Handmade always trumps factory made. and soy trumps paraffin. Farmers>Oil company's.
