What Base Would You Buy

I'm almost out of my homemade goat's milk cream (used a kit from LotionCrafter) and have decided to go the lotion/cream base route this time. I love the cream I made, but it's a PITA and I'd rather make soap! By researching the other threads, I've narrowed my selection down to four. This is for personal use only for me, hubby and my boys. I don't sell anything.

If you've tried any of these bases, which do you like?

WSP GM & Honey Lotion Base:

I don't use it myself but was sent some in a swap - it is very nice - leaves a powdery dry feeling NOT greasy

The WSP Goat Milk and Honey lotion is the same way. Huge seller for me. I have one account (a hair salon) that only carries that lotion. Occasionally she'll get some lip balms, but she's gotta have my lotion.

I use the WSP and the ECB Whipped Body Frosting...they feel very different from each other.

The WSP leaves a silky feel after and the Whipped Body Frosting leaves a moisturizing feel. It is not overly greasy though. I do add some other oils to the Whipped Body Frosting as well.

I think they are both great bases!

The regular EBC whipped body frosting is very plastic-y to me. It does soak in but I don't like the feel going on. The ingredient list is a turn-off as well.

The regular (http://www.essentialsbycatalina.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=353&bc=no) : Deionized water, Cetearyl Alcohol & Cetearth-10, Glyceryl Monostearate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Aloe Vera, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben

They have a paraben free one as well (http://www.essentialsbycatalina.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=885&bc=no), which has a very different ingredient list, haven't tried it: Deionized Water, Safflower Oil, Cocoa Butter*, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Shea Butter*, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Chamomile) Extract, Lavendula Angustufolia (Lavender) Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A Palmitate), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Palmitate), Allantoin, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol,Fragrance, Colorant

I use Aquatech Hemp and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Rave reviews.

I too have been looking for a really good lotion base and just ordered the Omega 3-Hemp lotion base from Aquatech. Loved I could pronounce all the ingredients!

Carebear...guess I should have asked this before I ordered but I'm assuming this can go in a pump type bottle. Also, no greasy feel?

Excited to be trying it..have heard so many good things about their products.

I used the GM&H from WSP for a few years and I liked it a lot but wanted to try something else. I just got the Hemp Lotion from Aquatech in today. I haven't scented it yet but did use some on my hands & arms and I think I'm going to like this a lot better. Soaks right in and no greasy feel at all.

Well, I've decided to give Aquatech hemp lotion a try. Just placed an order. I also like that I can pronounce all the ingredients and that I didn't need a dictionary to figure out what everything is! Also, the description on the website said the ingredients are known to help with eczema, which my son has. It was a tough decision, though, since all of the bases seem to be so popular. I will post my review of the lotion when I get it.

I have the WSP GMH lotion, and Aquatech. They are so different that I can have both. The WSP lotion leaves a powdery feel (which I do NOT like, but so many others do), and the Aquatech is more moisturizing. I ADORE the Aquatech. I haven't ordered it since they cut out the included s/h. I am at a crossroads because now it's going to cost over $40 for the gallon. I adore it so I REALLY want it even if just for myself, but that cost is painful!
