Containers

Recommended Posts

Hi there. Made a few containers this afternoon. I used IGI-4630 Harmony blend, a few drops of Peak's coffee color, just over an ounce per pound Chestnuts and Brown Sugar. There is some funkiness going on there, and I'm not sure what it is. Is this normal? It turned out to be a one pour, I had saved some for a 2nd pour, but turns out I didn't need it! So I poured it in 2 votive holders. Anyway, lemme know what you think! Thanks!

They've actually got smooth tops, doesn't look like it in the pic though. It's just a brainy coloring, I guess. And they don't smell all that much, course maybe it's my nose not working at the moment. I stirred it for a while, but it very well could have used more. I set them on the floor for a pic, so they were right under the a/c vent... that's why that one's flame is sideways! My desk is just too messy for me to take a pic and post it!

Nice! Is this Chestnuts and Brown Sugar from JS? If so, that is an extremely heavy FO. The first time I used that in soy at my usual rate it leaked like crazy! I had to cut way back.

Yup, it sure is. I couldn't smell it at my house, so I took it over to mom's this morning and still nothing. I have to be right there waving my hands in front of it to get any scent. Oh well, guess I'll melt them down and add more!

I get a ripple in my wax for embeds and chunks if I add additives like vybar to certain waxes.....sometimes, I have been able to smooth them out with the heat gun. I think they look good....just like pies that come out of the oven. Delicious!!!!!! Donita
