wildwings
What is the proper way to set up a fan page? It's somewhat confusing to me.The easiest way is to visit someones business page and look for the link at the bottom left corner "Create A Page For My Business"You can create the page without publishing it. Once you start clicking around on the links to modify things it is not to difficult. There are little options that you will find looking through it all. You can choose whether to let your fans post links or not, I personally don't because my page is not really there for others to advertise on, its for my business news and such. But some people like to network with links, either way you can control it.You can also give other fans admin access ect. there are a lot of little items hidden around.Oh I had to add ... It tool me awhile to find this one. If you have more than one business page like myself you can add each one to your current page by clicking on "Add To My Pages Favorites" located in the top right menu just below your profile pic. For example, if you go to my page, http://www.facebook.com/candleshoppe#!/pages/Todays-Work-At-Home-Mom/280324008953 You can see my other three pages below my fans. grama
JokerJen you can set up your FB page to also post what you post in FB to Twitter without having to go to Twitter. That is the way I do mine.

cbv1
I set up mine but I can't figure out how to send requests to friends that aren't on my personal page. I can't see that their is an option on my fan page to find friends or I should say FANS. I created an add for 1 month to see if this helps. I do have fans that I do not know personally and they are not friends of my friends so I am assuming they clicked on my add.http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Sudsations/246181744246

Jokerjen
No....it has to be published in order for you to have fans.

NaturallyTru
Thank You pmurphyfan! I have figured it out a little bit by trial and error method and here is my page:http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Greenville-MI/NaturallyTru-Handmade-Soy-Candles-and-Lip-Balm/322115589387?ref=tsIt still is very confusing to me; but I hope that as I use it, it will get easier. I have a fan already and I haven't even sent the info to my friends. That was shocking. Trudi
