tamsoycandles Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 Made this soap a while back. Didn't research the FO.. I had it on hand and decided to try it.This is Peak's Pink Sugar. Swirled with some Pink Neon. Smells freakin' awesome, but looks like butt. Initially looked like sweet potato casserole or some kind of pumpkin dish. After the cure, it looks like mud marble.Still, it smells wonderful. I'm a dude and I think this is close enough to a unisex scent that I use it. It just looks like you're rinsing mud off of your body in the shower. Not sure I'd use this in a "bath". Faerywren Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 Unfortunately, the high vanilla content of Pink Sugar will discolor it a dark dark brown over time. Smells lovely, but it's hard to call a brown soap pink anything. I have seen some soapers layer the brown with unscented soap they have colored pink and that looks nice. It works fine for my pink sugar and a lot of other fragrances that have some vanilla.
