berrycreekcandles
Ok so this is my first batch that I have added extras to, can't wait to try it out!I added CO. Veg. Glycerin, and lavender shea butter. I didn't scent it since the Shea Butter was Lavender infused, I also added some lavender buds from Lavender lane

soapbuddy
Looks good!Be aware that over time those lavender buds will most likely turn brown.
prairieannie
That is absolutely beautiful soap!! I'm really interested to hear how you like it when you get to use it.. the lavender infused shea sounds just lovely! Looks like you did some swirling too and it looks so beautiful! Did you do anything special there? I'd love to hear all about it!

berrycreekcandles
Looks good!Be aware that over time those lavender buds will most likely turn brown.I have put them in my soap that I have not altered before and have had no browning so I am hoping I won't have that problem with this batch.I used the soap this morning and it's GREAT! So much more lather than my plain bars!! I did swirl it prairieanne After i poured it in the mold I added just a few drops of dye and swirled with a toothpick

prairieannie
I have put them in my soap that I have not altered before and have had no browning so I am hoping I won't have that problem with this batch.I used the soap this morning and it's GREAT! So much more lather than my plain bars!! I did swirl it prairieanne After i poured it in the mold I added just a few drops of dye and swirled with a toothpick If those buds don't turn you'll have to share where you got 'em LOL. Mine always turn and look like mouse poop! I love the way it swirled! LOVE it. It made such a beautiful soft looking bar of soap. And I'm a total sucker for pink and lavender! Did you infuse the shea yourself? Or can you buy it like that?? It sounds really wonderful!

berrycreekcandles
I got the lavender buds from lavender lane, I'll let you know how it goes in this bar but I have never had any problems with them before.I bought the lavender shea at a health food store here, it was a little pricy though $10 for 4 oz.
