I waited to wash my soap dishes & equipment until 24hours after. The soap in the dishes was still slimy. I would not worry about their still being some oils that did not turn to soap in your bowl. I've had it happen plenty of times and yet my soap was fine which is what is important anyway. You can check your soap for zap by touching your tongue to it - if it feels like it does when you put your tongue on a battery, it is still lye heavy. You will know zap when you get it. No mistaking it. lol Give it a few days more and try again. If you still get zap, your soap is lye heavy. Now give yourself a big pat on the back. You done good!
