VanillaSniffie
just curious as to what your prefs are. I am working with CD and HTP and not having much luck.
Freezin
I really prefer zinc over all of the wicks I have tried. I think I have tried them all. I like CD's next. I had bad luck with LX's. HTP's were not too bad for me, but the zinc have been the most consistent overall.

grama
I use paraffin 4786 and used to use htp but decided to change to cd's. In soy - C3 - I use eco, and palm csn. In pillars mostly flat braid.
fredron
Not to be critical, but it serves no purpose to ask what wicks we use, unless you also find out what wax we use them in. Fredron
sassy906
In paraffin pillars I use flat braids. In my soy containers I use CD's. Tealights I use zinc.
Oceangazer1
I like flat braids for my pillars, although I'm going to test square braids soon. I used zinc for yrs, but now I mainly use CD's. I do not like LX's for containers, but I'm going to test my pillars with them also.

Darbla
I started out with zincs (36-36-24) in my votives and decided to try LX12s. I may go back to zincs (but a larger one; I found the 36s too weak which is why I tried LXs to begin with) because they stand up so much better when pouring votives than this particular batch of LXs I got from Tennessee Candle Supplies. These LXs I got just flop over and it's more work keeping them straight and centered, but I don't know if other LXs would stay up better.I have got to try those CDs...Darbla
grama
Darbla - I can use a cd 5 for most of my votives and they burn just right:rolleyes2
