pgray1229
I'm burning my test candle... it's burning nicely... but the scent throw isn't all that strong. What could I do differently? Use a different wick? I'm 2 hours into my test burn.. does it usually take 4-5 hours to get a nice scent throw? Thanks!!
Pam W
You're using soy, right? How long did you let the candle cure?

kandlekrazy
If you're using soy, cure time does factor in, but with any candle, what you are smelling is the melt pool of wax so until you have enough melted wax to throw scent it's not going to fill a room. You should be able to smell it when you get close to the candle fairly quickly. So, the type of wax, wicks and diam of container you are using and how far across is the melt pool at 3-4 hours would be helpful info for anyone here to be able help you out. logcabinmomma
Try moving it to another place in the room. Some places just have bad air currents. Weird, but true!-Kristi
