    Today I'm using a new wax. J223. I poured it at 145. What could I have done wrong to do that?

    Oh wow!! I made these last night, 12/29. I burned/melted them today and the scent throw is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! They are paraffin and the scent is coconut lime verbena type. Its sooooooooooo yummy!!!!

    I was cleaning my votive mold, and I cut myself!! Those things are razor sharp. Thank goodness I'm good with my tetanus shot, lol. Anyone else have sharp votive molds? The told molds are sharp too, but not that bad. I did my repour, and they're looking good! I will post pics when they cool off and I release them from their molds.

    I am making tarts and votives tomorrow. I'm using this wax. Do you spray your molds with anything to help them pop out? and how is the scent throw with this wax? I'm excited about working on something besides container candles I cut up 2-8oz of this wax and put it in bags so it's easier instead of chopping it up as I go along. How is the cleeanup of this wax also? Do you have to let it cure before you melt/burn it? Thanks to all!

    It's oily, but it's all natural oils... after it sinks in, it feels wonderful!!! I'm going to use a lighter oil like Rice bran next time!

    This body butter has only ultra refined body butter, sweet almond oil, Cucumber & Cantaloupe fragrance and Corn Startch in it. It's sooooo amazing!! Smells awesome toooooooooooo!!

    I'm burning my test candle... it's burning nicely... but the scent throw isn't all that strong. What could I do differently? Use a different wick? I'm 2 hours into my test burn.. does it usually take 4-5 hours to get a nice scent throw? Thanks!!

    That happened to my "Chocolate drizzle" FO, Im very new, I just thought that was ok! It's very cold oldside and I made my candle right after receiving the supplies... maybe that's why my candle crystallized!

    I didn't add any additives, but I did notice like a grainy substance in my FO. Maybe that is what happened? I'm doing another kind of candle today, so we will see if that crystallizes too. Thanks to all!

    I went to candlescience.com and followed their instructions for melting ecosoya cb 135. Then I'm searching online and see different instructions for melt points and when to add fragrance and when to pour!! This is frustrating!! Are the intructions at candlescience.com trustworthy?? What temps do you add fragrance/color/pour. Thanks from a newbie!!
