wczirr
Hello everyone, I am new to the board and have been reading through past posts, but with no luck.:undecided (I am sure a post exists somewhere out there) I am curious as to how everyone cures their tarts. I have been taking them out of molds,(when hardened) then putting them all together in a large baggie and leaving them alone for about a week. Scent seems great, just curious of other methods because I am fairly new to this....Thanks everyone in advance!!Wendi
AnjieBurdett
Hi there. I do the same as you, but I use sturdy polypro boxes, the food grade/storage kind. Works fine for me.Good luck and welcome to the board!Anjie,x.
pixisprkl
I use food storage containers with a number 5 on the bottom. I have read that some people use the plastic shoe boxes to store theirs. Just make sure it has a number 5 on the bottom... and if using plastic bags to store, be sure they are polypro bags and nothing else. :smiley2:Welcome to the board... mrsposey
Is there any way of determining whether or not a bag is polypro if they aren't marked? I bought some at a craft supply store yesterday but I'm not sure what they are. Thanks!Nancy
wczirr
I went and bought a bunch last night at WalMart. I made sure they had a '5' on the bottom. At my local WlMart they cost .94 cents...How do you all display your melts at craft shows? Thanks Again, no more wasting bags for me :smiley2: ! Auntie S
I believe I read somewhere that the "GLAD" containers are all made of polypro. They would great for storing tarts if you didn't want to package right away. And they come in all different sizes

Not the zipper bags that they sell in the jewelry department.... I don't believe they are polypro.Other than that, I order them from someone on ebay... Specifically search for polypro (polypropylene) bags online.HTH
