  1. I am glad that my first show coming up this weekend (nov 3) the firebarn won't allow anything but homemade stuff. I went to a local farmer's market in my area and an avon rep was there complaining about this show not letting her in...Well a craft show is a craft show, made for people who make crafts and such...not for the ones buying all of their goods and selling it. So I was rather happy about that. wendi
  2. That's not a bad name....trying to come up with something...This smells really good in body lotion. I am going to make tart/melts up in it tomorrow. Bet they will smell good too. wendi
  3. I like the looks of these, will have to check them out.... I usually by most of my stuff from BitterCreek Because of the fast ship time and prices...but time to venture outside the "box" wendi
  4. I too would be a little worried about if it had a setting or not to control the temp. I like my presto pot and thermometer, that way the temp is safe. wendi
  5. My question is I recently purchase FO that is called "Pink Sugar Type" it smells really good....But I am curious if anybody else uses this and what new names they might give it??? I think it smells really good but didnt know how a label would look listed as "Pink Sugar Type" (spin off of Pink Sugar Scent) Any ideas?? Or thoughts??? wendi
  6. I love the looks of those. I have been trying to find more "homemade" looking versions like these..love the tin look. wendi
  7. You do really nice work! wendi
  8. That sounds pretty close to me....but found this on a farm site; <<<How to know when a fig is ripe</B> Color - Figs come in all colors from yellow, brown, red to purple, black and others! So you need to know what color the ripe fig is. The most commonly grown figs, Brown Turkey and Celeste are a golden yellow as shown at left when ripe.>>> hope that helps wendi (http://www.pickyourown.org/figs.htm was the website)
  9. I understand it is a starting point. I will have to do some research on my own too...however she did bring up a good point about they "could" drop you. Just gives me something extra to think about. wendi
  10. Oh my, imagine that one-- my husband would definetly want to put an end to my crafting days :tiptoe: wendi
  11. Good Luck, I will be setting up for my first craft show next week..... wendi
  12. My full DBA name is "Country Girlz: homemade gifts and more", therefore I am not using just the country girls end of it. I seen that site, nope it isnt me and I dont plan on getting popular that way..... So it isnt mine wendi
