Wick'n'Wax Posted August 12, 2007 Author Share Posted August 12, 2007 I'm ok, thanks.It's these orbs, they are going to be the death of me lol.The only way I can melt the 5055 is in a jug (as I do my other wax), and then transfer it into a bowl, thats ok, but as I'm making the orbs, the wax is setting up, despite having the burner on full!! So after a couple I had to transfer the wax from the bowl into the jug to remelt. I hadn't got a ladle, so waited till it was set up a bit more and picked lumpy bits up with a spatula and tried to quickly transfer it back to the jug, except one lump got me!I got it off quick, and put it under cold water (that was a laugh, trying to get onto the work top to get my foot under the tap!, hubby already thinks I'm nuts, cos I've been swearing at it all afternoon lmao), its just a tiny bit pink now, hardly anything there.A lesson learnt lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
