MooChelle
Well, it's what I get for trying to many news things in a single batch..I wanted some Christmassy soap...I knew already I was wanting to try a "Lard-Free" recipe (First), and I used a scent I'd never soaped before...I am guessing that is what opened the doors for the gremlins Anyway, here it is... Gotta take the bad with the good I reckon ETA -- I couldn't stand having this ugly crap in the shop...So...here's what I've decided to do...I slivered it downAnd added it into some white - unscented soapPut it to bed last night...Will post when I pull outta the mold and cut...Anything will be an improvement over the other ugliness. Teercreations
awww dont be too hard on your self we all make monster batches! Just cut them up small and give them out as christmas samples.....or fillers for baskets. Ya know odds and ends to make a basket look fuller!Bet it smells great!Pam
cindym
I agree with Pam, looks like you can cut a little here and bevel a little there and get some nice guest soap sizes and use the rest yourself. The colors are pretty, I don't think it is a complete loss.
MooChelle
I dunno guys...by the time I whittle these nasty little boogers down to something "nice"...I'll have soap shavings....
Jcandleattic
I dunno guys...by the time I whittle these nasty little boogers down to something "nice"...I'll have soap shavings....And then with the shavings you can make laundry soap!! To me it looks like watermelon salt water taffy.. I like the way it looks color wise, but I think everyone is right. From the looks of it you can cut it down a bit and use them as samples, filler, or guest sized soaps.
cindym
Or you could make confetti soap with it for the Holidays.
mandalinn
LOL, I just had a gremlin batch too. My wonderful smelling Blueberry Muffin soap is baby puke green and look HORRIBLE! I think I am going to hide it in the closet. Certainly can't sell it. We all have days like this....hang in there.
