luckylady
I am going to get these tins going.. I use the 1945/4630 container wax. I typically use zincs and have been scanning the forum for posts on this topic. Seems people are all over the place with wicks on these.. I was going to start with a 51 z.. I havent ever used other types of wicks.. What else would be good to order to try if these dont work?? Thanks for you help!Tracy
pdevine
I use Joy wax in mine and I normally start with either a 51z or 60z and work from there. HTH Portia
MissMary
What I tested and successfully used on lighter colors was HTP-104 (haven't tried anything dark yet). Forewarning though, I'm not entirely experienced, as I'm still in the testing phase.
Candle Man
I'm still testing the 8oz tin and, with my wax formula, 1 wick won't work. I'm trying 2 LX's now.

Candle Man
LX-26 or LX-28 worked with mine.I found single large LX's burned to hot and to fast and only tunnled, with my wax formula.
cindym
60 z are what I use. Little hang up but it cathces up and the tin stays cool. don't look Trish LOL
jillgunter
I tested a 51 z in the 8 oz tins when I was using that wax. It didnt make it all the way across. I think the 60z will work better. I was using 6% FO, so I was surprised I didnt get a full melt pool. I gave up and now using the 6006.
Crafty1_AJ
I had to use at LEAST a 60z in these when I was doing them, and sometimes even a 62z. Still had hangup on a couple scents. I steadfastly refuse to double wick tins, so that was the end of *those* scents! lol
