slyfoxy46628
Hi! Does anybody here know how to make those little beads they sell at the store? They're perfectly shaped and lat on one side. I'm not sure if there is a mold or if someone is using an eyedropper to make these little babies. Either way I can't find anything out about the process of making them. Can anybody please shed some light? Thanks!!
BubbleBath
Well I wouldn't want to sit there with an eyedropper and drop all those wax beads........ I'm going to guess that they use a mold.
Tizimarezie
If you find out, please post. I'd like to know, also. I've seen the beads that you can buy, color and scent. But I want to know how to make just the cute little beads themselves.TIA:-)
sassy-girl
Perhaps they are made from a mold like this http://www.candlewic.com/store/Product.aspx?q=cPolyurethane,p285
NoOneSpecial
Those come from EL here: http://www.enchanted-lites.com/6a.htm They pastilize the beads using the same machines they pastilze their wax with. They also offer custom pastillation.
Auntie S
Hi, now what would you use these little beads for? embeds, tart warmers
NoOneSpecial
Some people use them in place of tarts. Some people sprinkle them on a burning candle to enhance or change the scent.
LaVida
anyone have any solid leads for the mold? I don't think I'd want to pat $117.00 for a mold.....
Kelly
I tried dropping hot soy wax into ice cold water to get a similiar look and while it does work, it's extremely time consuming and you need to keep your water very cold or they stop looking like drops and start looking like splats. KandleKim
The beads peaked my interest a while back, but the general consensus was that they just didn't throw as well as a melt. So, that ended my curiosity right there!
