  1. Thanks a bunch. I will look into making them myself!
  2. That's what I thought but couldn't find any that weren't hangy.
  3. You know when you get a little bag of candy that is in the cellophane bags and it is sealed and then has a coardboard top stapleing the two things together? Well I need to know what to call the cardboad thingies. Can anyone lead me in the right direction please? Thanks
  4. I was recently surfing the net and found Papertrey Ink and they sell the acrylic stamps. I haven't had good luck with those and wanted to know if anybody had ever tried Papertrey or acrylic stamps and if so what your experience was. What kind of ink do you use? Thanks Sheryl
  5. I got my Expression from Walmart with 2 cartridges for $289.00
  6. I love BC! These are the fragrances I've had good luck with. Imagine Peace, chestnuts and brown sugar, autumn spice, pumpkin pie, banana cream pie, carrot bread. I also love Candle Science too. Good luck in your search.
  7. Those are gorgeous pic of your beautiful candles. How did you get that stamp on the glass though?
  8. Has anybody ever had a problem with the bottome of the candle when you use wick pins? I jut took a batch out and the bottoms were kinda crunchy and not formed right. Has anybody else this kind of problem? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks for any advice! Sheryl
  9. Thanks to all who answered-I will try all of them! I just need someone to have a sale now. LOL
  10. Does anyone know of a good coffee fo? I tried BC fresh brewed coffee but since I'm not a coffee drinker I didn't like that smell. I'm searching for something that smells like fresh ground beans. Anybody know? Thanks Sheryl
  11. Wow! These are great ideas!! I never even thought to buy one of those creamer things but it does make sense...it's metal and will keep the wax hot and not alot of cleanup afterwards. Thanks for the idea Dolphin and everyone else-I'll let you know how my chips go! Sheryl
  12. Thanks Kim!! I appreciate the speedy and informative post you left me-hope you have a great day! Sheryl:)
  13. I know most of you have seen those soy beads they sell in the stores and I've looked everywhere to find a mold or how to pour those little buggers but couldn't come up with anything. My idea instead of those was to pour chocolate chips using a rubber embed mold. So, I bought the mold off ebay but it didn't come with any instructions. My question is what temp should I pour my little chips and (stupid question) what do I pour with? They're such tiny little crevices that a regular pour pot would be too much. I thought of using a paper cup but not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Also, since I've never used a rubber or silicone mold, can I use straight paraffin with steraic or would that hurt the mold? Thanks for any input!! Sheryl
  14. I love their carmelized pralines, pumpkin bread is a must have, and pumpkin souffle. You wo't be sorry with those picks!
  15. What an awesome looking candle! I lovfe peppercorn too so I bet it smells as wonderful as it looks!
  16. Has anybody tried The Candle Source? Are they any good? Thanks!
  17. That is sooo awesome! I'm so happy for you! :yay:
  18. You know how when you use a dishwasher for the first time you swear you'll nevwer go back to washing dishes ever again by hand? Well I'll NEVER go back to a double boiler again. I used to use a double boiler years ago and then I started making candles again last year and found out that a presto pot is WAAAAY faster and easier. You don't have to worry about water getting in your wax or anything like that. Just melt your wax, pour it into the pour pot, add color and fragrance and pour that into your tart mold! Easy!!!
  19. I love both. Did you print your own hang tags? If so, where did you get them? I love the looks of both though!
  20. Personally, I would use the jar label for both. I use 2.5" round on my tarts and it looks really good. Goodluck!
  21. I did the metal spinner contraption the first year that I made clamshells and they looked ok but they look much more inviting in a basket imho.
  22. I ordered some of those acrylic soap molds and figured I'd make tarts out of them right? Well I started out by using some mold release spray on them and everything came out great the first few times. Now on the 5th try the tarts won't come out of the darn molds. Do I have to clean these suckers and if so what do I clean them with? How hot should you pour? I'm clueless! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! Sheryl
  23. Beautiful booth Robin! I love your table cloths, where did you get them?
