You can usually find one under $25.00 maybe a little more but it is definately worth the money.You will save yourself a lot of headaches by having one. I didn't like it because it measured in increments of 1/8 ounce and I hated having to do conversions. I now use a Tanita scale that measures in increments of 0.05 ounce which is perfect. IndyGirl Posted February 27, 2007 Share Posted February 27, 2007 Hmmm.....well for me 1 pouring pot is 4 lbs of wax or 80 oz. I then use 8 oz of oil (10%). I use 4627 and it holds the oil load very well. I have never weighed my wax though........I usually pour my candles in 3,6,12 etc.....I can pour just one as I do for test burns but I have my pouring pot marked for those amounts of liquid wax.
