Tizimarezie
I can't find the answer to this which probably means that the answer is so simple I should already know it....:rolleyes2 ...BUT........In order to remelt wax, how do I remove the wax from the glass container? Thanks for any replies
SilverOrchid
I just pop the oven on warm or 200, put the jars in and melt it that way, then pour into whatever container you want to harden, Ice cube trays etc.. pop it out whenever you want to reuse if your doing a batch the same FO and colorHTHKristy
Candle Man
If it's soft container wax you can first cut & scoop out most of the wax with a knife. Next use a heat gun to melt the little bit that's left, next pour that out. Next wipe out container with a paper towel then wash the container in hot soap & water. chopsgirl
i turn mine upside down on a paper towel and zap it in the microwave. But then again I only use that micro for B&B & candles
Candle Man
I would caution melting any amount of wax in the microwave, it could catch Fire.
Pam W
Ever warmed a baby bottle in a pan of warm water???? Works for candle containers too and saves heating up the oven.
jillgunter
I heat mine up enough in oven that I can scoop it out. When you have most of it out. Turn the jar upside down on a cookie sheet lined with paper towels in the oven. That will get most out, and then just wipe clean with paper towels. Sharon in KY
If it's soy a micro wave works great for remelting wax. Don't know nothing about paraffin. It's hard to say how to get it out of the glass with out knowing the wax and the glass it's in.
