Bunny Posted September 9, 2006 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Good job! I totally agree about heating up your glass a bit before you pour. Don't look for testers just yet. Burn that baby down, note how fast it made a full melt pool, how far away from the candle you can smell it when lit, (hot throw) how well you can smell it cold (cold throw), soot, tunneling, everything. You'll have to do this with each and every FO you try, as some fo's just bite with certain waxes (and some just bite all together..lol) and some will require different wicks.Best of luck in your new adventure! sharyl55 Posted September 9, 2006 Share Posted September 9, 2006 So what wax and FO did you use? If you used a paraffin was you can probably start burning it in a day or two. If you don't have a heat gun to warm your container, try setting them in the oven set at 170 for a few minutes. You are off to a great start. You can test your own in the beginning since you know what you are looking for.Good luck.. Now- if you really really really want someone else to test- I have an address to send it to.
