CareBear
Added in a pinch of menthol (don't ask me why, I can't for the life of me remember). Colored with Select Shades (note to self, read labels carefully, this was the ELECTRIC KIWI, not the LEMON YELLOW I thought I had grabbed). Also added about 1/2 tsp TD ppo to up the color impact.Only partially gelled (and so looked wonky) after 6 hours so I stuck it in the oven - and it worked! My first swirl in the log. magsglass
Woohoo- the colors are fabulous! I can see where the menthol would round out the patchouli in that blend. I'll have to try adding it to mine because I'm not loving the Sang. Orange Patch by itself.
CareBear
I think I may have wanted to use a mint EO to do just that but didn't have any so that's why used the menthol. Maybe.
SoapInTheCity
It looks great!!!!!!!!! Swirling in the log is really difficult, you can't really know what to expect until it's unmolded and cut! (For me anyways)
CareBear
I poured each half at the same time (good thing I have 2 hands), one along each side. I read about putting in a divider and pouring one on each side of it but figured I'd test my dexterity first. Then I swirled back and forth with a spoon handle. I have a lavender one in the mold right now - did it the same way. Have to see later how that one turns out!
