linwvr
I was wondering if anyone uses a candy cane FO for Christmas time and if you use pepermint FO or what you're reccomendation would be....thanks
Terrie
You can mix your own candy cane by mixing plain Peppermint (like Peak's Purley Peppermint) and vanilla. The more vanilla, the sweeter your "Candy Cane" will be. Or you could just order a candy cane FO. LOL
linwvr
ya, i was just going to make an order from peaks and since they don't have it, i was wondering what i could mix
DENISE72598
If you mix 1/2 and 1/2 of vanilla and peppermint, it smells more like a buttermint...or the Yankee candle "JackFrost"....if you want more peppermint, minimize the vanilla. idahospud
Peaks, has it! Look under, Fragrances-Vanilla Mint. I love it, one of my top sellers all year long.

Sallykate
Natures Garden has the Jack Frost. I just bought a sample and made it up...it is nice. Here is their description of it..."A wonderful Christmas scent . A crisp clean peppermint aroma with hints of vanilla bean. Many of our customers sell this fragrance year round by renaming it Buttermint Candy"

Sharon in KY
You do not mix Peppermint and Vanilla to get candy cane. You mix Peppermint and Strawberry for candy cane. Vanilla and Peppermint is a Butter Mint completely different. Bluegrass Supply has a great Candy Cane or Peppermint Stick. Ky has a great Peppermint. I have mixed but preferr the BG scent better. IMHO...Have not tried any others.
Terrie
You do not mix Peppermint and Vanilla to get candy cane. You mix Peppermint and Strawberry for candy cane. I've been told by numerous suppliers and other chandlers that this is how they mix candy cane, and this is what I do if I don't have a candy cane FO on hand. Everyone has different ways of doing things.
