Duh! So let me get this straight... your FO wt shoud be.....

I think of it like this...The water evaporates out, that means that when the soap is all cured, it is supposedly only saponified oils and superfat oils. Therefore, you only scent the oils.

I may be wrong in my reasoning but that is how I figure it.

Oh yes, I began by adding fo ...based on ounce not pound... and did something with the decimals.

I hope I was the only one. Although the soaps did come out smellicious! Added 1 ounce/10 ounce of oils. Couldn't quite figure out why my bar cost was so much higher than everyone else' bar cost.

My ENTIRE bar of candycorn layered soap turned a dark brown... I was so discouraged. I used 2.5 oz of EO for the 2lb (or maybe it was 3 ?) recipe - I calculated at total weight. Shame on me... But now I know... Thank God my rebatch turned out ok.. I made a mini "spice" cake and a log..I just have to frost it along w/ my Chocolate "cake"..... I'l do it this wknd and take pic's...
