moniek
Does anyone burn one of their own candles while at a show? The one I am going to be in will be indoors. Thought it might help to sell. Let them see how it burns, and of course the smell!!
ally
I have always burned one at the craft shows. I always get comments on the strong scent. I usually burn one that is a very popular scent, and make sure I have plenty on hand, cause they always want the one that is burning. Bev
If your craft fair allows it, I would burn a candle. Unfortunately, some of the indoor craft fairs in my area do not allow burning of candles. Be sure to check with the fair organizers.
Twoscentsworth
Don't know of an indoor venue where the fire marshalls allow you to burn a candle....instead take an electric wax melter ....much safer and it will really get the scent out there. Scented
Sometimes we do and sometimes we don't. Seems that the scent of all the candles together is what becomes the hooker to get people into the booth.
gottabt
Definately burn one - this is a great way to show how they burn in addition to getting ppl into your tent. I have also found that the other vendors around me have a tendency to buy at the end of the day since they spent all day smelling how wonderful they are. I have a lot of ppl comment - oh this is where the wonderful smell is coming from.

Then her mother and aunt came and bought. They had to smell the candles all four days of the fest.
