I called my county office, and I dont have to have a license unless I'm in the city limits. I'm not. I told her a home-based website is all. I finally got ahold of someone that led me to the sales and use tax forms to fill out. Am I missing anything??

I have working on my website. For those of you that do lotion, lip balm, or anything like that, can you use Bath & body on your website. Pertaining to the stuff that you make? Is Bath & Body a trademark name to where you cant use it like that?

I am working on my website. What key words can and do you use for people to type in that links it to YOUR website. Could I put on for key words, discount to some of the name brands, like yankme, or home inferiors? That way, if they typed in those namebrands, my website would come up somewhere on the list? Am I making sense??

Two people has asked me about hosting candles parties. I dont do the inviting do I? Isnt that the job of the hostess?? My prices are cheap on my candles, do I keep the price the same? My 8oz are 5.00 ea or 2 for 8.00, 4 oz are 2.50 ea.

Mostly the reciepts are for how much you sale for tax puposes anyway, right? As long as I keep up with how much I sell, I should be fine, is that right to?

I'm fixing to jump into the world of candlemaking as a business. I am starting to work on my website this week, tax id#, the whole thing. My question is, when I get all this ready, do you give reciepts to every sale you make? I know you would those orders off the website. But what about those sales in person?

Can you use any type of wax? I use j223 for my containers, then I make melts. Could you use both types of wax?
