homespun5
the post from the one that did those beautiful tear drop candles. I did a search on the old site but came up with nothing.I have purchased a teardrop latex mold and am having a fit trying to unmold those suckers. Need to talk to her badly!!! Any help appreciated!Cheryl
Terrie
I believe that was Ange. You may try PM'ing her. HTH :smiley2:
swtjo2000
I'm not that person but maybe you need to add a little bit of mold release . it is a granule type additive.
Dee
If I remember correctly, Donita has some beautiful ones on her web site.
homespun5
Thanks! I spoke to Donita but she uses the two part mold. Will be looking for Ange and will definitely try the mold release grandules (it surely couldn't hurt).Cheryl

sharyl55
Haven't tried the latex tear drop mold but my latex molds came with instructions to apply liquid dish detergent to the outside of the mold then roll it back. Works for lighthouses.

homespun5
Sharyl, I did that but still am having trouble. How much liquid do you use? Maybe I am not using enough.
sharyl55
I put about a tsp in the palm of my hand and rubbed it all over the outside of the mold until it was almost to slick to hang onto. Good Luck
