dcroome2005
Just curious.. I really want to try this but afraid it won't work!!Christina
Crafty1_AJ
I just dip a toothpick into some liquid M&P dye and swirl in around in the melted soap that's in the mold. Not as dramatic as the swirls you can get in CP, but it does work!
prairieannie
I do the same AJ.. Here is a really bad and OLD pic of the very first MP soaps that I ever did. I know, it's a poor example, but it's the only one I've taken a picture of. It's not really a swirl.. but kind of lol.
dcroome2005
Thank you both. I will try that TODAY! Christina
Jcandleattic
I swirl my MP all the time, and I do it the same as I do with CP. I pour my base MP then set some colored aside. When the base is thick but not set I zig zag the colored in the mold and then take a knife and swirl the colored portion in the base.I've posted these to another thread, and they are not the greatest pictures, and also a year old. lol But I have a couple bars left of them and they are still swirled. The color did bleed but not to a solid color.

Crafty1_AJ
Annie and J, those are really pretty and colorful. I like them both.
KMommy
Gosh those photos are nice. I can't swirl M&P to save my life! Either the base is too thin and the colors run together or if I wait for it to get thicker there is a skin on top and the base on the sides is thick with just the center being thin. If I try to stir it back into the soap it leaves big globs in the soap. You guys make such beautiful soaps!
