I am playing with some soap molds and wanted to get a good size.Now for weight, what do you prefer your bar to weigh, and is the rule of thumb actually $1 per ounce as I read somewhere? Not no where ready to sell, but would like to kinda see what my cost is per bar and see what I would be able to sell at. Looking into it to see if it will be worth while. guppygirl Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Obviously it really depends on your area - there's a store out in CA that sells there's for $1.75/oz! I sell mine for $4 and they're usually between 3.75 - 4.25 oz each. Am thinking of charging between $4.50 - $5 for "luxury" bars & "man-sized" bars.HTH!
