Thought it might be fun to photograph this pillar while it burned. It's a crystalline pillar blend, 4" x 6", no additives, scented Sandalwood. I took the pics at one hour intervals. As you will see, the RRD 47 that I chose for it was no good.

What do you think?

Patience, that's the way my palm candles burn. I suppose it is slightly underwicked, but I actually LIKE fancy candles which burn down the middle... that way, I can use a tea light or votive in them over and over.

It looks lovely to moi!!:D

Exactly what I was going to say. I prefer them to burn like that for the same reasons. I like the colors. ;)

It looks like the flame would get too large if it was wicked up. I notice palms will keep burning the sides smaller each time they are lit. Maybe if you light it a few more times the sides will consume more. Or at least get thin enough to break off and put in the MP.

The colors are great for the scent. It is a really pretty candle.
