LRC06301983
I don't know about free, I'm sure some do, but usually a wax distributor will sell a one pound bag of a type of wax for a dollar-ish so you can make a couple of sample votives to try it out... comfortscents
I actually have 2 ten lb bags of wax that Cargill sent me, to be honest I've always used pre-blended wax and this cargill wax requires additives so I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to need to add to this...I keep staring at the box thinking divine intervention will tell me what I need to use..lol.. Dustpuuppy
Astor used to have a thing on thier website where you register and get a coupon or voucher or something to get a slab from one of thier distributers. I think you had to pay shipping. Don't know if that's still available, though.
Scented
Just ask the suppliers. I think there are quite a few that will send samples if you just pay the shipping.

Cargill C-3 is a blend of soy/veggie waxes and does not require any additives. As a matter of fact I think all their waxes are this way. Who told you it needs additives? BACKWOODS
Honeywell did send samples, but they just referred you to their distributors and then they wanted you to pay shipping. As we all know IGI bought Honeywell so I don't know where that stands...I would bet they still do.

ChelleRie
The store in Florida that sells Enchanted Lites also sent me free samples, wonderful lady, but sadly I did not like the wax!
Scented
Try Alabaster (I know they do), Morris Wax (might do it), maybe even Astorlite, which was aligning requests to other businesses. I'm sure there are others out there.

greenleaf
What is Green Leaf Candle Supply website? I did a google and couldn't find them. ThanksHi Paulette,You have to do an advanced search and type it into the "exact phrase" to find us through Google. Our web site has only been up for just a few months so I doubt that we have a very high ranking yet. As a couple of people have responded - it is http://www.greenleafcandlesupply.comThanks for your interest!BrendaGreen Leaf Candle Supply
