ellajoan
Silly question--I accidentally ordered the wrong size wick stickers--they don't fit all the way to the edges of my wick bottom (see picture below) Will this be an issue?
ncraiders
Honestly i don't really see how a smaller wick sticker could cause any issues since it is only there to hold the wick in place to begin with.
lightmyfire
I don't think it matters either--just be sure to use a chopstick or something similar to secure it snugly to your container. I don't know why you'd need anything bigger
runner14jc
No, I've used the smaller wick stickers in the past in a pinch and never had any trouble with them. You shouldn't see anything different than if you used the larger ones!
Jcandleattic
If it's not secured tightly, the wax going under the tab of the wick, up against the sticker could cause a problem. However, if it is secured tightly and the glue/sticky is heat resistant enough it should be fine. Are they from the same company, just a different size? I'd test them in a couple candles first just to make sure they are heat resistant enough. I've had some wikc stickers that aren't heat resistant enough and come loose and float when burned far enough down.
TallTayl
The wick sticker also keeps wax from going up to the bottom of the wick tab hole. It’s a safety feature. As long as it’s totally sealed and like JC says no wax gets under to release it it should be OK
