kandlekrazy
I was checking prices on C3 and noticed GW Candlemaking Supplies has a wax called Ultra Wax now which is a coconut/soy blend. I haven't looked here in over a year so it may not be so new.
TallTayl
Coconut, IMO, does not throw all that great.
Moonstar
TallTayl Ive always wondered how well coconut wax worked. I know companies like Voluspa and a few others use coconut + apricot wax but they must use other waxes as well because their candles are pretty strong. I ordered a candle off an easy shop before that uses coconut wax and her candles are really nice. A portion of the sale goes to an animal shelter which is the theme around the candles. Kandlekrazy if you order that wax please post your results, Im curious now. Edited February 4, 2017 by Moonstar
kandlekrazy
I tried coconut/soy from the company that was in Baldwin Park, CA, I can't remember the company name and tried to find my notes but apparently it was computer notes that I lost. This is sold in 5# tubs so I may pick one up when I go to the GW store just to try it. If I remember anything I'm thinking it was very soft. PINKT
I called CandlemakingandSupplies.net about the ULTRA WAX and it contains a very small amount of paraffin in it.
