Trappeur
Love the container! Looks like a vintage piece to me as it looks like there is some rust on it. I look for unusual pieces like this. Check on Ebay and Etsy. But be careful. There is a seam on the tin. When finding wonderful finds like this, always put water in it and let it sit to make sure that no liquid comes through the seam. It looks rather big, which I love BIG pieces and they will require 2 or 3 wicks and LOTS of testing! Tins require rigerous testing as they can get HOT. If you can't use for a candle, use for something else and enjoy! If you don't want it, I'll buy it! lol Trappeur Edited February 15, 2016 by Trappeur
awnl
Thanks, I'd be happy with something similar to this. I can always age it. Was looking for an alternative to glass ... Because of shipping. Also like the idea of a reusable- functional tin .
GoldieMN
Any idea what the size is? Goldie
Candybee
That's a nice looking canister. Hope you find it. I was thinking the same thing about the heat from a candle. It could get too hot to handle so just test as Trappeur suggested to make sure its safe.
Guest OldGlory
It finally occurred to me where I've seen something like that - in a camping cook set. I would try sites for camping supplies.
