moonshine
Any reviews on this company? I am tired of paying shipping on my wax- it seems to be out of control, so I am going to take a drive to Flat Rock tomorrow and stock up on wax and was wondering if there are any oils I shouldn't live without while I am there....It is a good hour away and I am not sure if I will be saving a ton driving a HD truck but...... I am going for it, I just about cry every time shipping is added into my ordersI have looked at this company before and believe it or not it was more within my state to have shipped than CS for 50 pound wax so I never ordered from them before
8-GRAN-ONES
I have used a pear scent from them that was really good..It was a long time ago so I can't remember the exact nameMaybe you can smell some samples while you are there and report back on what you think of them Edited December 1, 2015 by 8-GRAN-ONES
Belinda
I've used a few of their oils but don't really order from them much. I'm used Cleopatra, which I thought smelled great but wasn't a good seller for me. I have a few of their four ounce bottles but have never put them in wax. I think one I used that was good was holiday pear. Also, their snickerdoodle smells just like Sissie's sugar cookie from BCS to my nose. Sorry I wasn't more help. kandlekrazy
The only one I've tried is chocolate mint and it wasn't what I was looking for but it wasn't a bad fo. If it's a place you can drive to, I'd definitely try out some..also check on shipping rates from them asI find it to be right around the cost of gas for me to drive 4 hrs so I have the wax shipped if I'm not going that way for something else. I do love to browse the store when I'm going that way
moonshine
My husband did his calculations on me driving there - and this area I am in the expressways are always backed up an hour trip there could easily turn into 2 making it a 4 hour trip and so he thinks I am better off having it shipped because it's not just gas expense but my time is valuable also to where I could be actually producing candles while I am waiting for it to arrive I did the math again on shipping wax from CS vs. this place in my own state and it comes out to be 16.00 cheaper total to order from southern sensations but with CS I get it in 2 days no matter what- I am going to call and see what their turn around is for shipping and make sure it's boxed in original cases like CS.....makes me nervous with soy about getting bad batches
