amanda
Hello. I am in a pickle. Filmore is out of the jars I use for my candles Does anyone know where else I might be able to find these: http://www.fillmorecontainer.com/Product.aspx?ProductId=6066I know I could get the tapered ones that most people have. But I really like the aesthetic of the straight sided ones. And if I start with the tapered ones now, half of my candles will be in one jar and half in another and that won't look optimal for a display :/
Becky
Candlescience has them!
Trappeur
Hi Amanda, Why don't you use the 8oz salsa jar? There is not much difference at all. Filmore has them and just about every other supplier has them. Trappeur
Vernie1
I think Walmart may have them.
amanda
Becky- candlescience has the 8oz tapered but not the 8oz straight sided. But I almost wish I had never discovered that straight sided ones so I could just order everthing from CS. Alas, I fell in love with the straight sided jars. Trappeur- thank you for the suggestion. If I do have to switch jars, those will probably be what I go with. I would just hate to have my displays out and some candles are in one style jar and some are in a different style jar. Plus my 8oz jars use the daisy cut lid, which does not fit the salsa jars. I'll figure something out. But, UGH! why right now!? Worst timing! Guest OldGlory
Have you called Fillmore to see when they'll be back in stock?Wonder why Fillmore is out of stock on items so often?
grama
Don't know how much wax your jar holds but the 9 oz salsa jar holds about 7 oz. They look the same to me. Edited October 10, 2014 by grama
beckemmons
Is this like them? http://www.candlemaking.com/8oz-smooth-jelly-jars.html
Becky
My bad! Now I see the difference! Might have to try them when they get them back in stock, they look better than those regular ol' jellies!
Candybee
SKS carries them: http://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/G2.html
amanda
Wow,thanks for all the responses guys and gals!Filmore will have them back end of November.SKS and Aztec's jars are close but slightly taller. That was going to be my back up plan. The salsa jars are nice but my daisy cut threaded kids dont fit them. So then half my candles would be one style with one kid and the other half would be another style with another lid. I really wanted to avoid that. Plus I just really like those straight sided stout jellies. But I found them here after some SERIOUS internet sluething: http://www.mattsmughut.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=301 not too stoked about paying double per jar, but I'm still relieved. Thanks all for the help!

amanda
It's subtle, but those are not the same jars. Thank you though
